Tiger Woods Spotted Watching….
Tiger Woods was recently seen alongside his son Charlie, who is gearing up for his debut appearance in the Will Lowery Junior Championship at Carolina Trace Country Club in Sanford, North Carolina. Charlie, who celebrated his 15th birthday in February, received a sponsor’s invite for the 54-hole tournament, open to both boys and girls aged 12 to 19.
Tiger has been a constant presence at Charlie’s junior events, often seen carrying his bag, including at the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship last November. The father-son duo has also competed together at the PNC Championship, finishing T5 last December.
Charlie’s most recent outing was at a pre-qualifier for the Cognizant Classic, where he aimed for his first PGA Tour start. Despite his efforts, the day was marked by challenges, including crowd trouble as fans eagerly followed his progress, and Charlie ended with a 16-over-par 86.
Currently, Charlie primarily competes on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour and Junior PGA South Florida Tour. Notably, in 2022, he clinched victory by an impressive eight shots at the Major Championship at Village Golf Course. Last year, he secured another win by shooting a remarkable 66 in the Last Chance Regional, earning him a spot in the 2023 Notah Begay III Boys’ Jr Golf National Championship, where he finished T17 in the Boys 14-15 Division. His current ranking in the Junior Golf Scoreboard is 957th.
As for Tiger, he hasn’t competed since withdrawing from the second round of February’s Genesis Invitational. While he skipped the Players Championship, he’s set to return to action at the Masters, confirming his spot in the field.
