Amanda Balionis is savoring some downtime at a remote ranch in Wyoming following the Open Championship, while Rory McIlroy and his reconciled wife Erica Stoll are enjoying a romantic getaway in Portugal.

 

Balionis took to Instagram to share photos and videos from her trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, a scenic tourist hotspot in the Mountain Time Zone. Over the past few months, Balionis has been in the headlines due to her close association with McIlroy, especially during his tumultuous divorce proceedings with Stoll.

 

The drama began on May 13 when McIlroy filed for divorce from Stoll, citing ‘irreconcilable differences,’ a move that shocked the golf world. The news of the split was confirmed by McIlroy’s team just days before his opening round at this year’s PGA Championship at Valhalla in Kentucky, a course where he last won a major tournament in 2014.

 

During the brief period when McIlroy was single, rumors of a romance with Balionis surfaced, with reports of the Northern Irishman being spotted in her hometown of San Diego. Balionis herself is reportedly undergoing a divorce from former NFL quarterback Bryn Renner, having been seen without her wedding ring earlier this year and in the photos from Wyoming.

 

However, in a surprising turn of events, McIlroy and Stoll reconciled on June 11, calling off their divorce and resolving the issues that had previously made their split public knowledge. McIlroy’s return to the golf course as a married man was marked by one of the most heartbreaking defeats of his career, missing two usually easy putts that cost him June’s US Open to Bryson DeChambeau.

 

Since their reunion, Stoll and McIlroy have been seen together multiple times in public, including outings with their 3-year-old daughter Poppy, who will turn 4 next month. The couple is currently enjoying a vacation in Southern Portugal, including the Algarve region.

 

Meanwhile, back in the United States, Balionis appears to be in high spirits, documenting her adventures, which include a visit to Yellowstone National Park.
