Tiger Woods, currently single, might still be pining for his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren. According to the National Enquirer, Woods is not only interested in rekindling their romance but is also willing to go to great lengths to win her back.
The magazine reports that Woods proposed to Nordegren over Christmas, presenting her with a ring and getting down on one knee. To sweeten the deal, Woods has reportedly offered a significant portion of his fortune. The proposed deal, worth over half of his estimated $600 million net worth, includes a substantial anti-cheating clause. Nordegren is considering the proposal but insists on a $350 million clause to ensure Woods’ fidelity.
Despite the staggering financial commitment, Woods is unfazed by the demand. A source revealed, “Tiger didn’t even balk at the demand. Even though his accountants think he’s crazy, he’s ready to sign the pre-nup and set a wedding date.” The source added that Woods has never truly recovered from their breakup, despite dating several models and having numerous flings. “None of them were more than a one-night stand,” the source noted.
Woods and Nordegren’s story began in 2001 when they were introduced by Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik, for whom Nordegren was a nanny. The couple became engaged in November 2003 and married in October 2004. They have two children together.
However, their marriage unraveled dramatically in November 2009 when Nordegren discovered Woods had been unfaithful with multiple women. The revelation led to a heated confrontation during Thanksgiving, resulting in Nordegren allegedly attacking Woods, who subsequently crashed his car into a tree. The couple divorced in 2010.
Since the split, Nordegren has moved on, dating billionaire Jamie Dingman and reportedly NHL player Douglas Murray. She has been living apart from Woods and working on rebuilding her mansion in Palm Beach, Florida.
