CHARLIE WOODS ACHIEVE SOMETHING HIS FATHER NEVER DID……….
Charlie Woods, accompanied by his parents, proudly received his state championship medal alongside his fellow Benjamin School golf team members. Despite the highly publicized breakdown of their marriage in 2009, Tiger Woods and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, appeared to be on good terms as they were photographed attending their son Charlie’s Benjamin School golf team state championship ring ceremony, as reported by Golfweek.
During the 2022 PNC Championship, Tiger and Charlie were captured on camera congratulating Elin after she welcomed her fourth child and second with former NFL player Jordan Cameron.
The intimate ceremony saw Charlie and his teammates—Brooks Colton, Pavel Tsar, Jake Valentine, and Tyler Bruneau—presented with their well-deserved gold medals, alongside their coach Toby Harbeck.
Last year, Charlie achieved a milestone his father never did by clinching the high school state championship title with the Benjamin School. With Tiger proudly watching from the crowd, the 14-year-old freshman displayed his talent by shooting 78 and 76 as his team secured victory at the Florida High School Athletic Association Class A state championship held at Mission Inn Resort.
Elin Nordegren has been a supportive presence, frequently seen cheering on her son as he endeavors to make his mark in the sport. Charlie has already accumulated multiple wins as a junior player and has notably played alongside his father at the PNC Championship in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Recently, Charlie made his debut in the AJGA circuit after making an attempt to qualify for the PGA Tour’s Cognizant Classic last month
Elin Nordegren’s partner, former NFL player Jordan Cameron, shares two sons with her, born in October 2019 and December 2022, respectively. Cameron, originally from LA, played as a tight end in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins from 2011 to 2016, following his collegiate career with the USC Trojans. Additionally, Cameron has another son from a previous relationship.
