Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren express their congratulations to their son, Charlie Woods, on his recent achievement.
Charlie Woods, accompanied by his proud parents Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren, received his state championship ring alongside his fellow Benjamin School golf team members on March 26th.
The event, held at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Florida, celebrated the Benjamin School golf team’s victory in November 2023. Charlie, a freshman and first-year team member, played a crucial role in securing the team’s fourth state championship in program history. Notably, he demonstrated skills reminiscent of his father by chipping in for birdie on the final day of the tournament.
Under the guidance of their long-time coach Toby Harbeck, the Benjamin boys golf team clinched the team title, marking their first win since 2009. This triumph added to their successful season, which already included district and regional victories.
Alongside Charlie, team members Brooks Colton, Pavel Tsar, Jake Valentine, and Tyler Bruneau contributed to the team’s success. Valentine particularly shone with an impressive 36-hole score, finishing tied for eighth place individually.
Despite Charlie’s recent AJGA debut, where he landed in the middle of the pack after three challenging rounds, his dedication to the sport remains evident.
Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren, who co-parent their two children, Charlie and Samantha, were present to congratulate their son on his achievement. Despite their past, reports indicate that Woods and Nordegren maintain a close and amicable relationship. Woods, reportedly single since his split from ex-girlfriend Erica Herman in 2023, continues to focus on his family and golf career.
Meanwhile, Elin Nordegren has found love with retired NFL player Jordan Cameron, with whom she shares two children. Their blended family reflects a commitment to mutual respect and support despite past challenges.
