Unbelievable! Tiger Woods Unveils Massive Entertainment Complex Just Off Las Vegas Strip!
MGM Resorts International’s Luxor unveiled a new entertainment option in January 2024, introducing Play Social’s Play Playground, a 15,000-square-foot immersive adult playground. With a focus on interactive large-scale games emphasizing tactile skill, memory, puzzles, and teamwork, Play Playground offers 20 immersive games and attractions, two bars, VIP mezzanines, and private event spaces. Distinct from traditional arcade-style venues like Dave & Buster’s or Chuck E. Cheese, Play Playground doesn’t feature arcade, virtual reality, or augmented reality games. Instead, players earn credits for winning at the immersive games, redeemable for prizes at the Prize Center. The venue welcomes all ages during the day and transitions to adults-only at night.
Meanwhile, just off the Strip on South Rancho Drive, Area 15 stands as a multi-experience arts and entertainment venue. Offering 28 different venues including a carnival midway, arcade, flight simulator, indoor golf simulators, and virtual reality experiences, Area 15 provides diverse entertainment options for visitors.
However, one of Area 15’s tenants, Lost Spirits Distillery, is set to close on April 29, adding to the ever-changing landscape of Vegas entertainment. Yet, amidst closures, new opportunities arise, such as Tiger Woods’ venture into the Vegas scene with his mini-golf and casual dining concept, PopStroke. Set to open on April 22, just a mile off the Strip in Town Square, PopStroke features two uniquely designed 18-hole mini-golf courses, an open-air dining area, an outdoor beer garden, and multiple bars offering craft beers and cocktails. Additionally, the venue boasts an enclosed outdoor playground for children and ample screens for sports enthusiasts.
Positioning itself as the ultimate destination for events, PopStroke offers private event spaces overlooking the mini-golf courses, catering to various occasions such as bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthdays, and corporate events. Guests can also enjoy an ice cream parlor and outdoor games like ping pong and cornhole. With mobile score monitoring and on-course drink delivery through the PopStroke app, the Vegas location promises a seamless and enjoyable experience for visitors. Operating from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, PopStroke Vegas joins its counterparts in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Texas, and South Carolina, adding to the city’s vibrant entertainment scene.
