PGA Tour Champions President Miller Brady has initiated discussions with Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, to ensure a smooth transition for the golfing legend. Despite the time still remaining before his eligibility, Brady has already envisioned the “ideal” debut for Woods, suggesting that the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in January 2026 would be a fitting first event. “In an ideal situation, Tiger turns 50 and the Mitsubishi Electric is his first start,” Brady told Golfweek. “Maybe you pair him with Fred Couples and they have a great time.”
