Tiger Woods Awkwardly Reunites With Ex-Wife Elin Nordegren to Celebrate Son Charlie’s Golf Championship Ring
Charlie and his golf teammates celebrated their victory at the state golf championship, with an unexpected reunion stealing the spotlight. Tiger Woods and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, came together to celebrate their son Charlie’s success, creating a slightly awkward atmosphere.
The proud parents joined their 15-year-old son on Tuesday to honor his and his teammates’ achievement in winning the Class 1A state golf championship. The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach, Florida, saw Charlie and his fellow players presented with prestigious awards—a gleaming medal and the coveted state championship ring.
Tiger, a 15-time major golf champion, radiated pride as he posed for photos with his talented son. In another snapshot, Tiger stood to the side while Elin smiled alongside Charlie, whose team secured the school’s fourth state title in November.
Tiger and the former Swedish model, who exchanged vows in 2004, are parents to Charlie and their daughter, Sam, 16. Despite their past, the former couple divorced in 2009 following Tiger’s well-publicized cheating scandal, which was extensively covered in the two-part HBO docuseries, Tiger, in 2021.
