At 48, Woods has decided to take a hiatus from competitive golf, planning to return only in December at The Hero World Challenge. Wants to keep getting better in gym until then,” reported Dan Rapaport from Barstool Sports on X.

While The Hero World Challenge is part of the PGA Tour schedule, it is considered an unofficial event and does not contribute FedEx Cup points. Hosted by Woods and benefiting the Tiger Woods Foundation, this event has been a staple in the golfing calendar since 2000.
