Scottie Scheffler Claims $8 Million Comcast Business Tour Bonus

Scottie Scheffler has secured an $8 million bonus for topping the Comcast Business Tour Top 10 leaderboard for the 2024 PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup regular season. This marks Scheffler’s second time finishing at No. 1 in three years.

The 28-year-old World No. 1 enjoyed a standout season, with six tour victories and a gold medal at the Paris Olympics. “It’s been an incredible year for me both on and off the course,” Scheffler said. “To conclude the regular season as the top player in the Comcast Business Tour Top 10 is an honor. This award reflects the hard work and support from my family and team throughout the season.”

Xander Schauffele finished in second place, earning a $6 million bonus following his first major wins at the PGA Championship and The Open. Rory McIlroy took third place with a $4.8 million bonus, while Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark rounded out the top five, earning $4.4 million and $4 million, respectively.

Scheffler’s six victories this season included four signature events and a second grand slam win at The Masters. He became the first golfer to win six or more tournaments in a season since Tiger Woods in 2009.
