Oleksandr Usyk Finally Names Which Fight Was Tougher Between Anthony Joshua And Tyson Fury

Oleksandr Usyk has recently revealed which of his heavyweight bouts he found to be the most challenging. Currently, Usyk is widely recognized as the top heavyweight fighter, having defeated Daniel Dubois, Anthony Joshua, and Tyson Fury. His victory over Fury in May was particularly significant as it marked the first undisputed heavyweight championship bout for all four major belts.

Despite being the smaller fighter, Usyk triumphed over Fury, who had been undefeated until their meeting. The two will face each other again in December for their rematch, with the Ring Magazine, Lineal, WBA, WBO, and WBC titles on the line, following Usyk’s decision to vacate the IBF title due to unfulfilled mandatory obligations.

In an interview with Mail Sport, Usyk was asked to compare the difficulty of his fights against Joshua and Fury. He unequivocally stated that his bout with Fury was the most challenging, rating it the highest in terms of difficulty, passion, and emotion.

Usyk also discussed his mother’s reaction to his fights, noting that she worries about him after each bout. He expressed deep affection for her, acknowledging her concern and sacrifices. Despite this, Usyk remains focused on his mission and is not considering retirement.

If Usyk successfully defends his titles against Fury, he has mentioned that there is only one other heavyweight opponent he would consider facing.
