Jon Rahm responds to shock rumour that he is unhappy on LIV Golf
Jon Rahm 29, became the superstar signing on LIV Golf at the end of 2023.
The former World No.1 reportedly accepted a five-year deal in the region of $600m.
It was a shock move to many in the sport given Rahm had made it clear multiple times in 2022 that LIV Golf was “not appealing” to him.
“My heart is with the PGA Tour,” Rahm said two years ago as he declared his fealty to the American circuit.
Little more than a year later, Rahm went back on his word and pen to paper on a huge new deal with the breakaway Saudi golf league.
Now eight months into his first season with LIV Golf, rumours are swirling that Rahm is having second thoughts.
But is he really?
According to a Golf Digest article written by Jaime Diaz this week, an unnaned ‘Tour insider’ told the publication “if Jon Rahm could give the money back to the Saudis and come back to the PGA Tour, he couldn’t write the cheque fast enough.”
