Despite her rare appearance as his caddy at the PNC Championship last December, Woods shared that Sam has developed a “negative connotation” with the game due to his frequent travel during her childhood.
“We’ve developed our own relationship, our own rapport, that’s outside of golf,” Woods explained, emphasizing their bond beyond the links.
Although Woods tried to involve Sam in his passion by introducing her to golf early on, she has found her own interests away from the sport. Over the years, Sam has supported her father at various tournaments, but she has chosen to pursue activities outside of golf.
