Anthony Kim Drops Bombshell Revelation Involving Tiger Woods and Brooks Koepka
Former US Ryder Cup star and three-time PGA Tour winner, Anthony Kim, recently opened up in a captivating interview ahead of his participation in the upcoming LIV Golf Miami event. In the interview, Kim, now 38, shared insights into the challenging times he has faced in recent years.
Kim, who had not competed in a professional event since 2012, disclosed that he was largely unaware of significant golfing events during his hiatus. Surprisingly, he admitted to not being aware of Brooks Koepka’s consecutive major wins in 2018 and 2019, only learning of them recently from Dustin Johnson. Additionally, Kim confessed that he did not witness Tiger Woods’ historic victory at the 2019 Masters, although he was aware of the achievement.
Reflecting on his mindset during those years, Kim emphasized that golf held little significance for him amidst personal struggles. He acknowledged that while golf provides a platform to reach a broad audience, his focus had shifted away from the sport towards more pressing issues in the world.
Kim credited his family, including his wife, mother, and young daughter, for being his beacon of hope during dark times. Despite facing setbacks like breaking his ankle last year, Kim expressed gratitude for the support that helped him navigate through challenging periods.
