The moment of victory was made even sweeter as Scheffler celebrated with his wife Meredith and their newborn son, Bennett. Right after stepping off the course, Scheffler cradled six-week-old Bennett in his arms during an interview with Balionis. Scheffler’s victory at the Masters in April was also a highlight of his season, though it came with its own set of challenges. As Meredith was close to giving birth, Scheffler had declared he would leave the tournament immediately if she went into labor.
